Note: 2002 Ice Race 1 was scored using the 2001 Scoring, where the average of the fastest two runs determines the finishing order. All other 2002 Ice Races are scored using the 2002 Scoring, where the average of the best two run rankings of the day determines the finishing order. The idea is to eliminate the effect of changing course conditions during the Ice Race. This change means that rather than scoring participants on their times, we will be scoring based on their Rank within their Class for each Run. Therefore having the best time in Run 4 will be just as important as having the best time in Run 1.
