Ever wonder how autocross started, or where the term "off course" came from? Well, even if you don't wonder these things, I'll tell you anyway. The first link shows Eric taking a 540 "mule" though its paces. Note the relative gate and vehicle widths, and how some parts lean more than others.

While the pace seems leisurely, it takes a lot of skill. Here is a shorter clip that shows something much more difficult and hazardous, with 4 times the horsepower and smaller course:

Like the ones that can knock your mirror off? I'll bet the cone count would go way down if those were used.

May need a bigger van to pack them up in.
