If I go any time soon... Please keep yesterday as a potential model to have a day of remembrance. At times, I wonder if there was a dry eye in the house. I know mine weren't dry...
I cannot think of a more perfect day of autocrossing, especially with that tribute, and the amount we were able to raise, in John's name, for the local food pantry, the Devens Loaves and Fishes Pantry. I heard most areas got a healthy dose of rain yesterday, and we got by relatively unscathed, and the "widespread thunder and lightning" were a no-show!
Much thanks to Miguel for (again) going above and beyond in trailering the Caldwell there. Also thanks to my fellow autocross chairs, Rob MacAlpine (Renegade Miata) and Joe Kreatsch (North Country PCA) for helping to make the event a eerily smooth running and bringing memorabilia of John's life.

| I agree, sunday was a great event. I cant say i knew John well, but he helped me with some good instruction over the past few years and obviously his priceless contributions to the club and sport. Its always fun to hear some great stories from the people who knew him best. Glad to hear we could contribute so much in his name too. Thanks guys.

I was going through some photographs and came across this shot. This isn't from the event but I figured I'll post it.
I miss him very much this year, his absence is very noticeable.
