Hi all,
I was at Monticello this week with COM and had a great time on track. Here is some HD video of two laps.

James, one of your videos state "235 whp". So that's 235 hp at the wheels for an E36 M3? What is done to the engine?

Yes 235 hp to the wheels (I was told this by Larry when I purchased the car from him, I've not had it dynoed myself). The engine has pretty much the usual mods, mostly external. Jim Conforti cold air intake, foam filter, larger air flow meter, Conforti chip, 24 lb injectors, Bimmerworld twin fuel pumps, Turner shorty headers, Borla cat-back exhaust. Cats are still in. Pretty much stock engine internals. Stewart water pump. It's a '95 so it has the better intake manifold than later cars.

| One more reason to drive Monticello: "Hermann Tilke, the German architect behind nearly all of the modern circuits on the F1 calendar, has reportedly given the facility the green light to stage F1 events, albeit with "some expansion and minor track modifications". " http://www.planetf1.com/news/18227/6165748/Another-potential-US-GP-venue-emerges it is not likely that F1 will race there but it's great to hear that the track only needs minor modifications to bring to that level.

it would actually need huge improvements in terms of parking, accomodations (there are currently no completed permanent buildings of any real size) and hotels in the immediate area to accommodate the teams and crowds. millions and millions of dollars before it could host an event of any real size, honestly.
