Phil and Linda just sent me this email.. I know it went to others, but thought I would post it here, in case we missed anybody. John did a lot for us, and it would be nice to stop by, tell a Johnny Mac story or two over some tidbits, and raise a pint in his honor...

Totally agree, Eric.

I have two regrets.

First, that John would have loved to be there, though I'm sure he was there in some form.

Secondly, that I neglected to thank Linda and Phil Kogan for setting up the event. There had to be 150 people there, incredible stories, and more good food than we could have eaten over a few days.

John was one of my 2 autocross mentors and a great laughing/joke partner. I still remember how he constantly took my steering wheel off the race car and hid it somewhere.
Rest in Peace John. I'll be talking to you every time i put the racing steering wheel on.
