For those attending the event on Sun / Mon - will there be food available at NHMS, or should I bring my own meals? Is there a break for lunch, and if so, how long is it?

Thanks!

Thats so funny, I logged on to find this out myself. At the ADSS event last month, pizza was provided but there is no mention of this in the DOE document for this weekend. Sometimes the snack bar is open but I'm not sure.
Anyone know the answer to this?

There is food usually at the Checkered Flag restaurant. i don't know if they will be doing a lunch break or if you will need to fit lunch in between run groups. Many people bring their own food, costs less, food usually better. Do absolutely bring hydration drinks, the vending machines are stupid expensive. If it is at all hot or sunny you'll need to be drinking all day to stay hydrated.

Have fun. Be safe. Please make sure that you bring your tech form (filled out), have changed your bake fluid within the time limits, and have torqued your own wheels prior to tech.

See you at the track.

BTW - food at the track is pretty much limited to lunch. There's a dunkin donuts on the way to the track if you want something in the am. Depending on how the schedule works for your run group there's a local deli/pizza place not too far away if you want a better lunch.

I've been going to the Cup race for 20 years, but I've never eaten in the infield, so I am pretty curious to see if its quality trumps that which is fed to spectators
