Both are solid performers when it comes to a street/track combination. Neither would be the best commuter tire, and they are definitely not all-season, but you will notice a major improvement in how well your car handles. They are both popular tires for HPDE events and are also relatively in-expensive. I have used both on my M3. I recently went with the Dunlops as I have heard so many good things about them in terms of track-worthiness. Definitely do what Mike suggested and read up about them on Tire Rack. What I want in a tire is performance in the dry and low wear. I realize those two might be inversely proportional? <br>I basically want a new set that I would only put on for any kind of track event. <br><br>Any suggestions? Kumho is also well established and makes a good tire at a good price. Go to tirerack.com and read the surveys and reviews.
