He was there as a spectator and his daughter was driving the E36 328 Convertible... From the moment he walked in - he was helping with the tent setup, timing, and then the course setup. Then during the day he was shagging cones and meeting new people and providing a helping hand where needed. At the end of the day - he drive his truck around the course to pick up cones AND then jumped into the van with me to get EVEN MORE cones...

It's guys like Chris that will get addicted from becoming a spectator and join us in the future. I think he said that he drives a modded Porsche - so maybe we will see him soon!

RE: Thanks to Steve and the BMW autocross team for their help today

Also a big thanks to Larry N who gave up a bit of his Sunday morning just to put the timing stuff together. And no rain!

Lots of fun for all from what I could see. I must have drank 5-6 bottles of water, bottle of Gatorade, and Polar fizzy water too.

RE: Thanks to Steve and the BMW autocross team for their help today

well, easy in the sense that I have to replace the entire rad ;)

RE: Thanks to Steve and the BMW autocross team for their help today

Thanks for a wonderful event! Wish I could have stayed and enjoyed the runways longer, but it was not meant to be today!
