Calling all Women, Calling all Threes

by Maria Anggraeni

It is spring! I hope that you are reading this column while sitting outdoors, or at least somewhere next to a window (not the driver's window, of course). I also hope that by the time you read this you will have gone to more than one of our club events. We have some great events coming up, but we need to see you there. The more, the merrier, so let's meet and have fun! You are also welcome to become more involved with the club. I also encourage you to become more involved with the club. We would be happy to help you by giving you whatever information you need. All you need to do is ask.

For you women drivers, I encourage you to come to our Women Only Tech Session at Foreign Motors West on June 3. If you are like me, a woman who loves to drive but clueless about cars, this is the event you cannot miss. I have come to this event in the past, and I could not believe how much information I had learned by the time the session ended. It was also fun to meet other women in the club. What I learned was not highly technical information, but the answers to general questions such as the location of battery, when to change the oil and what type to use, etc. The technicians were always patient and professional in answering our questions. If you are interested in coming, please contact Ann Marie Weber.

One of the events that we will be having is our Second Quarter General Meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, June 14 at Foreign Motors West in Natick from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. This is one of the events you should not miss. As tradition, we will have raffles, our host will provide dinner, and, of course, the parts department will give you a special discount. We are asking those of you who are proud owners of 3 Series BMWs to come and show off your car. Our focus will be the history of BMW 3 Series. Our speakers will share their knowledge and personal experience from owning a 3 Series BMW. Of course, everyone is welcome, whatever you drive. I personally would like to meet you and share information about the club with you. I am here for the same reason as any other people on the staff - we are in love with the club, and we want to be a part of it. Hopefully you will have as much fun as we do by being a part of it.

Before I go, I would like to thank all the staff, members and sponsors who have helped the club to be where it is right now. All your help is appreciated and recognized. I would love to mention names, but the list would be endless and this day would be gone by then.
