EditorialSummer Endingby Armand Aquino |

Can you believe it? Summer's just about over! I must say that this summer has certainly gone by quickly. It's been real busy. From driving schools to Oktoberfest to tech sessions, to autocrosses, etc. the summer has been an absolute blast! In this issue, we've tried to squeeze in some pictures from the last NHIS driver school course. Thanks to Joe Peng for providing such great pictures! Incidentally, he also gave me some spectacular photos from Oktoberfest. The cover reflects one of the shots he took. I still have to sort through the tons of great photographs. I intend to put them in the next BIMMER. But since I didn't make it to Oktoberfest, can anyone out there help with putting captions for the pictures? Maybe even an article on just how great the McLaren F1 was? By the way, for the record (again), I do not own one. I haven't even seen one in person! The same goes for the Euro M3. I'm still receiving calls concerning "ownership experiences" on either of these cars with the latest phone call from a gentleman in Texas who wanted to compare notes! But anyway, please feel free to contact me about the Oktoberfest pictures! This month, we have two concours events to attend! One on Sunday, September 14th and one the following Sunday, September 21st. Truly, these will be great events. Please review the event advertisings in this issue. Lastly, does anyone have any "interesting" summer pictures to share? Or has anyone done something special for their summer vacation and would like to share their experiences? If so, we'd luuuuuvvvv to hear from you. To start, here's a goofy picture taken during vacation... [sorry, Armand didn't send me the picture yet - webmaster] Thank you very much for your comments and support!
