From what I've been reading on BMW forums, the upper control arm bushings are the usual culprit of front end shimmy while braking between 50-60mph. I've purchased the parts from Bavarian Motors, does anyone know who can install these for me? The shops I spoke with will not install parts unless they have bought them?  I live in southern Massachusetts.
