Can anyone recommend a good body shop near Cambridge, I need my '02 M3's hood replaced.

I have seen Mike's Auto Body and Dick's Dick's Auto Body recommended. Any experience with either of these?

Thnx

Try Hanson & Tilton Collision Repair, Inc, Sunnyside ave, Arlington

http://www.hansonandtilton.com/index.php

I was hit from behind on Rt 3 a couple of years ago.  Turned my year old 325xi into a sub compact car.  These guys did an excellent repair job - the car looks great, tracks perfectly.  They did battle with the insurance comapany for me over gray market vs oem repair parts/components ... and won!

I hope you've got your hood fixed by now, but in case you're still looking, here is one place I recommend: Superior Auto Body in Medford, MA

They did spotless job on my bimmer. Drop me an e-mail if interested so I can give you a persons name to talk to.

Regards

Sasha

Dick's is very, very good, but expensive. I recommend them if insurance is paying or if you are a total perfectionist. I've used them twice (once when the other car was stollen -- I'm not that bad of a driver ) I don't think anyone would know that either car was in an accident, at least not without getting it up on a lift.

Many, many, many track people have used Sansossio. Phil Jr is a racer and has done a great job for a lot of fellow racers and track people. I suspect that he can do a range of repair perfectionism from race car (cheap because it may be banged up again) to perfection.

Dicks is the most amazing body shop that I've ever seen. Very pricey, very long time wait to get the job done.

Mike put my car back together after a visit to the armco at Tremblant. Beautiful job at reasonable price. Mike is a P-car racer.

Sansosso's is in Natick. Great guys, BMW club racer.
