Is there one?

I believe that it's an issue of supply and demand. Currently F1 doesn't have any local competition and there is a lot of demand. We've tried to set up an enduro (both at the indoor and at the outdoor track) and we've tried to set up an indoor league. We've continually received incomplete information nor are phone calls or emails returned. I'll keep trying, but they don't seem interested in our business. My guess is that it is far more profitable for them to do corporate events than have a car club in.

Regarding the Maine and New York tracks, they are both very interested in having us and are willing to put together an enduro. This would be something like a three-hour race with teams made up of four drivers.

Feel free to contact me off list.

RE: Karting League? Is there one?

What's the problem, specifically with F1-Boston? They have a good track setup, well maintained karts, and are a lot closer than Maine or New York, so I'd hate to give up on them. I've been there a dozen times as an individual, with family and friends, and never had a problem, but I guess arranging organizational events is a whole 'nuther thing.

Anyway, I'd go to Vegas for 100mph karts, but I don't think I'd go to Westchester for the same experience I can get at F1-Boston.

Just my opinion.

RE: Karting League? Sorry for the assumption.

Maine Indoor Karting - Scarborough ME
http://www.maineindoorkarting.com/

Grand Prix New York - Westchester NY
http://gpny.com/

I'd also be willing to put together a trip to either Las Vegas (100 MPH karts) or Jacksonville, FL (65 MPH karts).

Let me know your thoughts.

RE: Karting League? I'd need dates, location (Maine and NY are both large states) and some kind of description to be sure.

RE: Karting League? I've had an impossible time trying to get anything done through F1. Would ant of you be interested doing a road trip either to Maine or New York?

RE: Karting League? Try asking Steve Hazard who that would be.

Karting League?
