New guy here, to this forum as well as BMWCCA. Am hoping to run you a/x series @ Devens this year and had a couple questions:

1. Are the number of entrants limited? (I read the webpage and know that pre-reg is req'd)
2. Typically, how many runs are there?

Thanks,
Tom

Yes - most events fill up pretty fast and we were close to capacity at the last few events. We strive for 8 runs on a 70+ second course.

It's typically 8 runs per day.  Occasionally 7 runs if there's a timing equipment problem or if there's miserable weather.

Perfect amount of seat time as well as tons of really good instructors at your hand.

I would add that the Test and Tune days have tons of seat time, and are the best bang for the buck for learning.

Thanks for the responses guys, and for pointing out the test-n-tunes, I had missed that on the schedule.

The Test & Tune schools are scheduled for 7/13 & 8/9.

These schools sell out in less than 48 hours! So make note of when registration opens.

You can get 40+ runs in with several instructors during the day on 2 different courses. I usually have 15-20 instuctors available for each event. I know of no better vaule on the runways then one of our T&T schools.

Cheers,

Steve

Rather than start a new thread, I wanted to ask here.

I have registered and by the list on the website it seems that I have been accepted for the April 27 Event, but I have yet to get an email about payment and I don't want to keep you guys waiting for that. Have I just missed the email or has no one received on yet? This will be my first event so I'm not sure what to expect in paying. THANKS!

No worries. The registrar will e-mail you when you have to pay for the autocross.

Steve!
Where would I find the registration for these schools?
Under regular "Events" listings? Here on the forum?

Thanks a bunch.
