| | Hi Mike, I refer you to a thread I (tried) to start re shops that people have used. I'm hoping that others will chime in on that thread and we'll have a nice list of recommended shops. My shops are just north of Boston to North Shore. http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/InstantForum/Topic169-3-1.aspx Here's a south-of-boston recommendation: http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/InstantForum/Topic117-3-1.aspx If you tell us where you are specifically, we can recommend an independent shop. I of a bunch more that are usually recommended, but that I haven't personally used. I generally recommend a shop that either specializes in or works exclusively on BMW's. Dan |

| | As I said in my other post, you could go to Autobahn East (now Auto Engineering or something) in Lexington. They will give you a loaner if you book far enough ahead. Or go to Schneller in Newbury. No loaner, but he'll drop you in Newbury while he does the work and you can poke around (good library, good pastry shop). If you want to go to Schneller, I have a post card good for a free oil change (synthetic and filter!) for first-time customers. dan899 at gmail dot com Also BPG (Bavarian Performance Group) in Winchester (recently moved) is near you, but I haven't personally used them. Good reputation. Don't think you can go wrong with any of these. |
